This image is in 重工街, Chònggōng jiē ("Heavy Industry Avenue"), at 北二路, Běi'èr lù (北二西路, Běièr xilù, today). The camera is facing northward. Trolleybus lines 8 and 9 operated northward one stop, to 薄板厂, Bóbǎn chǎng ("Sheet Metal Plant"). Line 14 terminated here, at 制药厂 Zhìyào chǎng ("Pharmaceutical Plant"). The turning loop was located a short distance northward. Both trolleybuses visible in this image are working southward. The trolleybus in the foreground is signed for Line 8, and that in the background is signed for Line 14.
